This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics or advertising services and embeds no content from other providers. Fonts and images are served from our own web space; visiting the site does not connect you to Google or any other third party.
Hosting
The website is delivered by Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). When you visit, Cloudflare processes technically necessary data: IP address, time, requested address, browser and operating system. This is needed to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure and available website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Cloudflare acts as our processor; for transfers to the USA it is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. More at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
Links to other services
Links to Steam, Discord, YouTube and other platforms are plain links. Only when you click them do you go to that provider, and their privacy policy applies there.
If you write to us, we use your address and message only to reply (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR) and delete them once they are no longer needed and no retention duty applies.
Reports from the game and via Discord
This covers reports from Deepwright: Awakening (menu “Report a bug / Feedback”) and tickets via our Discord bot (/bug, /support, playtest questionnaire).

Your IP address is only held briefly in memory to limit spam and is not stored. We don’t use anything for advertising and don’t share it with third parties.
Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), given in the game before sending; for Discord tickets our legitimate interest in fixing bugs and answering requests (Art. 6(1)(f)).
Where it is stored: on our own server in Austria. Reports from the game pass through Cloudflare (connection/tunnel), Discord tickets through Discord; their privacy policies apply as well. Summaries without names or contact details may become tasks in our private GitHub project.
How long: attachments (save game, log, screenshot) are deleted automatically 12 months after the report is closed. The text of a report is kept as bug history until you ask us to delete it.
Your rights
Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, objection and withdrawal of consent – any time at office@woodspiregames.com, for reports ideally with your ticket number (e.g. T-012). You may also lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (dsb.gv.at).
